Practice those math facts!!!
Hey everyone!
I'd really like you to practice your math facts by playing the games below. Have fun and practice!!
Unless you completed this assignment in Core Study with me, you MUST GET A NOTE SIGNED THAT YOU COMPLETED THIS ASSIGNMENT. Nothing big, just a "Johnny played the computer games for math. -Mr. Smith"
Game One (Choose the higher, harder numbers like 6, 7, 8 or 9.)
Game Two (Uses a keyboard)
Game Three
Game Four (Tougher Problems, try if you are up for a bit of a challenge)
Game Five (Puzzle)
Game Six (I really like this one!)
If you know of any other multiplication games that you like playing online, please comment below with a link to the site! Thanks and have fun playing!!!

Hey there crew! Sorry that I am missing you today! I am out for the holiday today but I will be back on Monday. Since we've had STEAM for the last few days, it might take a little while for us to catch up on what we were working on previously...
There are a LOT of directions in this post. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!!!
To get your brains moving, please try this challenge problem. You can brainstorm with the people around you, but it needs to be done quietly and respectfully. Click this link to answer the question. Don't worry, you'll be able to read the question on that page as well. Don't forget that there's more below the question.

Now let's talk about proportions. We know that proportions are made by making two fractions equal, like this:
To help you remind yourself, please go to the interactive site and watch the video below.
Math Antics video:
Take the worksheet from the substitute and work on the problems from the worksheet. You can partner with someone else, but you MUST each do the work and complete your own paper. Keep your paper when you are done.
Once (if) you finish, please make a creative proportion picture. You can make a digital or paper copy. Some examples are provided below.
You need to create an original fraction and then a second second with one part missing. Illustrate it and make sure it makes sense!
If you create a digital picture, please share it with me, kahrimanis.nancy@madisonps.org
If you make a paper version, please hand it in if you finish before the end of class.
See you on Monday!!!
