Dividing Fractions
Today we began dividing fractions! Please find examples from class below and some videos to help you with tonight's homework. If you have trouble with the HW and the notes and videos don't help, please have a parent/guardian sign off on the work you have completed! Thanks!!! Quiz tomorrow!
Hey all! We're finally going to have our quiz tomorrow! I know some people want to continue practicing, so I have provided some resources below.
Questions from Friday
Monday morning Miss K drank 1 ½ Coke zeros. Monday afternoon she had 2 2/3 Coke
zeros. How many Coke zeros did she have
in all?
I purchased a 3 lb container of goldfish
crackers before the storm. How many lbs
were left after my family and I ate 1 5/6 lbs of goldfish crackers during the
storm?
Zoe brought in 4 sheets of stickers to
class. If Emma took ½ of a sheet, Ashlee
took 2/3 of a sheet, Audry took 3/8 of a sheet and Ben took 5/12 of a sheet,
how much would Zoe get to keep?
Miss K had a hard-boiled egg eating competition
in her class. About how many eggs
were eaten if Alex ate 5 1/7 eggs, Hailey at 6 ½ eggs, Vincent ate 9 7/8 eggs
and Julia ate 18 2/3 eggs?
When making a group cell, Cedar brought in 2/5
of the materials, Jake brought in 2/7 of the materials and Roland was
responsible for the rest. How much would Roland need to bring in to complete
the cell?

Miss K had a saltine eating competition
in her class. About how many saltines were eaten if Hayden ate 3 5/8 saltines, Braeden at 6 ½ saltines, Frank ate 4 1/3 saltines
and JJ ate 8 1/5 saltines?
When collecting money for a video game they planned to share, Ava saved 1/4 of the money, Mia saved 2/5 and Anna was
responsible for the rest. How much would Anna need to bring in to purchase the game?
Maddy read 7 books over the long weekend! She read 2 ½ books on Saturday and 3 3/5 on
Sunday. How many did she read on Monday?
