A few words from Ray Bradbury

If you aren't aware, Ray Bradbury is a science fiction (primarily) writer and a tremendously smart man.  He has written a multitude of novels and short stories including Fahrenheit 451, one of my personal favorites and a really famous book about... books and censorship and knowledge and the influence of the media.  (It's a great book and a great movie if you ever get the chance to look into it.)  Check out raybradbury.com if you want to learn more!

The blog Boing Boing just published this note from Ray Bradbury from 20 years ago.  I really like the message, so take a minute to read it!

  2. Patrick-

You continually impress me! Bradbury is great! I plan on reading some more of his work this summer! Check out the movie (from the 60's or 70's) of Fahrenheit 451. It's retro awesome!!!

  3. I found the movie kind of creepy(especially when the lady burned herself and the floating book), but overall, the movie got an "A" for me. I actually read the book for an L.A book report.
